Lukas Zimmermann takes over as CEO of the AZO Group

We are setting the course for the next generation: On 1 January 2026, Lukas Zimmermann took over the management of AZO Holding GmbH and simultaneously assumed the role of CEO of the Executive Board of the AZO Group. He will manage the company together with his father Rainer Zimmermann.

With this decision, we are consistently continuing the planned generational change as a family-run company and at the same time strengthening our long-term management structure. The expanded management team stands for continuity, stability and sustainability within the AZO Group.

"Close collaboration across generations ensures that experience, values and entrepreneurial responsibility are retained, as is the ability to provide new impetus for innovation and growth."

Lukas Zimmermann has already held various positions within the AZO Group for several years and is familiar with the international structures, markets and strategic challenges of our company. In his new role, he will drive the further development of the Group and be responsible for the long-term direction of the company.

With this step, we are emphasising our claim to act in a sustainable, reliable and innovation-oriented manner as a family business. The orderly generational change is intended to offer stability and planning security to employees, customers and partners alike.
