We are convinced: To lead a company into the future in a healthy and well-positioned state, sustainability must be at the forefront of corporate policy. Thinking and acting sustainably is what drives us to develop innovative and environmentally friendly solutions for raw material automation. It drives us to create fair and secure jobs and production conditions for our employees. And it drives us to be a reliable and strong partner for our customers.

Our sustainability concept is divided into three dimensions:

We are a reliable and fair partner and always have the economic sustainability of our actions in mind. Through the production of high-quality equipment, we and also you save money and time in raw material automation.

In order to give our sustainability concept and the five fields of action a clear structure and to derive concrete measures for our corporate actions from them, we are guided by the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Our measures and goals:

Our goal is to end poverty in all its forms worldwide. That's why we offer secure, well-paid jobs with extensive benefits at all our sites.

Through our passion and expertise in raw material automation, we enable our customers worldwide to manufacture quality products - including in the food industry. With our solutions, we want to make a global contribution to feeding everyone.

Vital products as well as consumer goods for daily use are produced with our machines and systems. That is why we pay attention to compliance with the highest standards and hygiene regulations - because health is the highest good.

We provide our employees with extensive training opportunities through the AZO Academy, but also through external training courses. AZO has always employed many trainees, students and interns and provides them with high-quality training.

Clean water is unfortunately not a given worldwide. That's why we want to use this precious resource as sparingly as possible and recycle rainwater for our firefighting and sanitary facilities.

We use sustainable and renewable energies to supply our sites. In addition to our own photovoltaic system, we purchase green electricity at all our German sites and rely on the latest technologies to reduce electricity consumption.

As a family business, our employees are particularly close to our hearts. They are the cornerstone of our success and the basis for sustainable economic growth. For this reason, we have had our social sustainability certified according to the strict SMETA specifications and by EcoVadis.

We actively promote the use of public transport and offer our employees a Job Ticket for low-cost use.

Our mission: AZO becomes climate neutral. Starting with the Osterburken site, we want to ensure that all AZO sites become as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.
