Successful start to the 2022 trade show year
The Anuga FoodTec took place in Cologne from April 26 - 29. Here, exhibitors were able to present their solutions for all aspects of food production - from process technology to filling and packaging systems all the way to food safety and digitalization.
For us as raw material experts from Osterburken, this was the perfect opportunity to start the trade fair year 2022 after two years of pandemic and to present our solutions for the automated handling of a wide variety of raw materials. Whether storing, discharging, conveying, mixing, screening, feeding, dosing or weighing: At AZO, all solutions for raw material automation come from a single source and are perfectly coordinated - and this expertise was also well received by the visitors of Anuga FoodTec.
Even though the number of exhibitors and visitors at the trade show was around 50% lower than last time in 2018 due to the pandemic, our booth was very popular and even exceeded the our expectations. Over the course of these three days, our experts were able to lead around 200 promising talks on site and are now looking forward to many exciting projects and orders resulting from these contacts. Although these numbers are still below what we were used to in the years before the pandemic, this result is quite respectable when one considers the reduction in booth space and personnel.
Because, of course we were prepared for the fact that the pandemic would slow down the start of the trade fairs and made the necessary preparations. Not least for this reason, we also launched our new virtual showroom just in time for the start of the trade fair, where visitors can take a virtual tour of the AZO world. At www.showroom.azo.com, anybody interested can explore AZO's solutions for raw material automation at any time, obtain information on the sustainability concept, access the AZO media library and clarify all questions relating to individual requirements in a live chat with the AZO experts.
With this hybrid concept, we are well prepared for the 2022 trade fair year and for a future in which personal and digital exchange are becoming more and more intertwined.
